"Randy Rabbit"

Hey Boys & Girls!!
Alpha's ABC's daily featured character is:
And here are a few interesting rabbit facts:

  • Rabbits are mammals and so, give birth to young ones, instead of laying eggs.
  • Even though, rabbits have some resemblance to rodents in appearance, they are not rodents. They have an additional pair of incisors on the upper jaw, along with some structural differences, which make them different from rodents.
  • One of the interesting rabbit facts is that the teeth of rabbits never stop growing. It is said that their teeth (28 in number) grow at least one to five mm, every week. The rate of growth may vary with different teeth and from one rabbit to another.
  • Male rabbit is known as buck, whereas the females are called does. The young one of a rabbit is a kit and the newborns are collectively known as litter. A group of rabbits is called a herd.
